Margy M. Campbell

LCSW, CMC, CFP, MG - Master Guardian

Margy M. Campbell is a licensed clinical social worker, gerontologist, certified financial planner and Master Guardian registered with the National Guardianship Association.   She is founder and CEO of Age Connections, Inc - a professional geriatric care management and consultation business and co-founder and partner in Guardian & Conservator Services, LLC - an agency that provides guardian, conservator, trustees and personal representative services for protected individuals throughout the Intermountain West.    Ms. Campbell has recently been appointed as Program Director for the Utah Special Needs Assistance Program Fund (Utah SNAP Fund), a non-profit organization offering a pooled income fund to the disabled in Utah.

In 2000, the National Association of Women Business named Ms. Campbell Women Business Owner of the Year and in 2002, Utah Business Magazine, the National Association of Business Owners and the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce; Women's Business Center named her as a Woman on the Move.   She is a long-standing member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Certified Financial Planners, National Association of Private Geriatric Care Managers and the National Guardianship Association.   She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah, College of Nursing, Center on Aging and she currently serves on the Utah Bar's Committee on Aging.   Ms. Campbell was recently appointed to the National Guardianship Association board of directors for a 2-year term beginning January 2005.

Ms. Campbell's professional geriatric experience has proven invaluable to local attorneys in their professional need for expert testimony and court visitor requirements for the elderly and disabled through the Utah Probate Court system.   She also serves as a consultant to individuals who are struggling with issues of parent care and to local corporations that are establishing elder care programs for their employees.

Eve B. Larsen

MS, CMC

Eve B. Larsen completed her Bachelor's degree in Family Studies at the University of Utah with an emplahsis in Gerontology in 1996.  In 1999 she graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters Degree in Gerontology.  Since 2001, she has been certified with the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (National Assoication of Private Geriatric Care Managers) as a CMC, Care Manager Certified.

Ms. Larsen has been a Geriatric Care Manager with Age Connections since 1996. Her experience in working with and for the elderly and their families encompasses a range of positions, from internships and graduate studies to certification as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman in 1998.  She has extensive experience working hand-in-hand with multiple Hospice and Home Health agencies serving the needs of Age Connections clients.

Ms. Larsen has worked as a research coordinator and assistant at the University of Utah Gerontology Center. She has also worked for Salt Lake County Aging Services in the Senior Companion Program, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and as a case manager with the Alternatives Program. During the summer of 1997 Eve worked as a student intern for the American Association of Retired Persons, Utah State Office, with the Widowed Person's Service.

Roberta B. Wilcox

Roberta B. Wilcox has worked with the elderly and disabled population in the Salt Lake community since 1999.  Beginning as a "hands on" care provider with Age Connections in 2001, Roberta quickly moved into a professional position as Client Care Coordinator and Care Manager in 2003.  In 2006 she was promoted to Human Resource Supervisor responsible for all staff training with the company in 2003 along with her continuing role as Care Manager. 

As Age Connections' HUman Resource Supervisor she is responsible for the hiring, scheduling and training of our professional Care Providers, as well as providing private Care Management services for many of our clients.  Her knowledge of a client's need for autonomy and independence makes her an advocate for our clients and a valuable support for our Care Provider staff.

Ms. Wilcox has worked in the banking and insurance field and she is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration with an emphasis in private care management and business management.

Private Care Staff

Age Connections, Inc. staff is licensed through the Utah Department of Health.

Our agency holds a non-medical care licensure allowing us to provide in-residence non-medical care for the elderly and the disabled in the state of Utah.

Our Care Providers are -  

  • First Aid and CPR trained through the Red Cross;
  • TB test annually;
  • Medically evaluated for work fitness;
  • Individually trained to work in each care setting; and
  • Professional supervised by our Client Care Coordinator.
