What are Non-Medical in-Residence Care Services?
The term "non-medical in-residence Care services" refers to many different services for different levels of needs. They can include companion or homemaker services such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation, and transportation and medicine reminders. They can also include "personal Care services" such as assistance with all daily Care needs - hygiene, toileting, dressing, etc.

What are the benefits of hiring from an agency?
If you choose to hire a home Care Providers from our agency, we will be responsible for their taxes and benefits. You will pay the agency, which will assign a Care Providers and schedule her/his visits to you. With this arrangement, you will be freed from administrative and other responsibilities involved in hiring a Care Providers directly.
Our Care Providers are all licensed with the Utah State Department of Health and they undergo a vigorous screening, background and reference check before they work with any client. Many private workers are unlicensed and they are not trained in the duties and responsibilities of caring for a disabled and/or older person.
Are your services available for someone living in a retirement community, assisted living, or skilled nursing home?
Yes, we provide non-medical in-residence Care services in any living environment. This service provides additional attention and/or personalized assistance that can enhance a client's quality of Care and insure their safety.
Can you provide respite Care or Care for an individual who may be visiting relatives and/or friends?
Yes, we can provide Care for short periods of time to give family members time to take time off from their Caregiving responsibilities. We also can assist an individual if they need assistance while they are visiting family and/or friends who may live in our delivery area.

How much notice do you need to provide service?
We need a minimum of 3 days to allow us to meet with you and complete an assessment of need and to match a Care Provider to your personal needs.

How do I arrange for service?
Services can be arranged by calling 801-231-2018 to set up an appointment with our Client Care Coordinator for an in-residence assessment.

I am not sure what I need - can you assist me?
Yes, our staff is trained to assist you and to help you determine what services you may need and how to best meet those needs.

What hours is Care available?
We specialize in Care on an "as needed" basis for our client. Care can be provided from as little as a 1-hour visit up to 24 hours of Care, 7 days a week.

Does insurance cover the cost of non-medical home Care?
All services are "private pay" unless you have a long-term Care insurance policy that may cover our services. Our staff can assist you by calling your long-term Care insurance Provider to see if you can qualify for the reimbursement of our services under your contract.

Does Medicare or Medicaid cover the costs of non-medical home Care?
Medicare and Medicaid may not cover the costs of non-medical home Care services.

What happens if the Care Provider needs time off?
We send in a relief Care Providers with similar experience to cover for the primary Care Providers in the event that she/he needs to take time off or there is an illness that may prevent her/him from working.

What about couples living together?
Our rate is for a single individual client. If there is more than one person requiring Care, the Client Care Coordinator will be able to discuss additional costs for caring for additional family members.

Can I interview the Care Providers first?
We allow an introduction of our Care Providers to the client and her/his family. If a client wants to change Care Providers for any reason, we will do so as deemed necessary at no extra costs until the client is completely satisfied.

Do you bill before or after services are rendered?
Billing is completed at the end of each month for services provided for the previous month. Payment is expected within 10 days of receipt. The only exception to this rule is when a client is asking for Care Provider coverage in their contract for over 12 hours per day, 7 days a week. We then ask that a deposit of 30 days costs for the service be paid when the contract for service is signed.

What if a client goes to a facility, a hospital, or dies before the end of the month?
You may cancel services at any time. A final bill will be send to you for payment by the end of the month when services were canceled. Payment is expected within 10 days of receipt.
